#Calfmatters survey 2020
Robust and resilient calves are the key to a disease-free system where stock can truly fulfil their production potential'
According to the 2019 #Calfmatters survey, an increasing number of producers are seeing a decrease in pneumonia year-on-year, which is possibly as a result of improved immunity, and reduced environmental and disease challenge.
Although 2020 has so far been laden with some rather unexpected challenges, rearing healthy calves remains at the heart of a productive and efficient herd. And with the weather being relatively mild, albeit after a wetter than average winter, has this had an impact on calf health?
Likewise, what has been the impact of the closure of marts and changes to livestock and milk prices?
Help us answer these questions, and many more, by completing the #Calfmatters survey.
All entries received by the closing date of 30th June will be entered into a draw to win one of 10 calf jackets*
Finding out how farmers up and down the country are managing their calves is really important. By taking part in the #Calfmatters survey 2020, you will help the wider farming community optimise their management of calves.
